Once each generation of rulers and heirs educates the next, the culture problem goes away.Following the war for the Duchy of Somerset, we grant the titles of those counties to some of our friends and kinsman. Just be careful of culture changes when first getting your best generals to educate your heirs (make sure the generals are same culture as yours). Just get your best martial generals to educate your heirs, have the heirs lead armies when adults to make the armies effective (and possibly improve, but it hardly ever seems to happen) and as soon as your surviving capable heir becomes ruler, have him sit at home with his high martial boosting levy numbers, and educate the next generation of heirs.
